	Risk of injury caused by fingers being pinched or crushed when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lids, tailgates or sliding roof.	Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
1	Turn key in ignition switch to position "0".	Vehicles with code 889 Keyless-Go: Switch off engine, remove Keyless-Go cards out of vehicle and store outside of the transmitter range.
2	Open engine hood and raise to vertical position	Model 216, 221

8	Rotate engine at crankshaft center bolt in direction of rotation of engine to a 450° crankshaft angle after top dead center (TDC or marking 1-6) on cylinder 1
9	Remove Hall sensor on front caps (1)
10	Check position of marking on intake camshaft (E) and marking on exhaust camshaft (A)	The markings must be centered in openings of Hall sensor. The timing must be adjusted if there are deviations: ↓ Remove, install camshafts
