Remove/install belt drive components - AR13.20-P-0001GZB

	Removing
	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being pinched or crushed  when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lids, lift gates or sliding roof	Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
1	Remove engine charge air channel upstream of charge air cooler		AR09.41-P-8623GZB
2	Loosen poly - V belt (1) and remove	Turn tensioning device (2) in the direction "LOOSEN" and lock in place with a drift (3).
	Checking
3	Check belt pulley profile for damage and soiling	Installation:  If belt pulley is damaged, replace.
4	Check clamping device (2) for damage and soiling	Installation:  If damaged, unscrew bolt and replace clamping device (2).
5	Check poly - V-belt(1)	Installation:  In the event of wear and tear or damage, poly - V belt (1) must be replaced.
	Check visible area of poly - V belt for wear	Model 164	AP13.22-P-1352GZD
		Model 251	AP13.22-P-1352RTD
	Install
6	Install clamping device (2); screw in bolt to do this	Only when replacing the clamping device (2).

7	Install poly - V-belt (1) and tighten it.	Turn tensioning device (2) in the direction "LOOSEN" and remove drift (3). The catch is removed and tensioning device (2) turns itself back into its design position. Do not use belt wax or any similar products. When laying on poly - V belt (1), the routing diagram must be observed:

8	Install engine charge air channel upstream of charge air cooler		AR09.41-P-8623GZB
	Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
9	Carry out engine test run
