MODIFICATION NOTES

14.1.04

Disconnect/connect/remove ground lead from battery

	Remove/Install
	Risk of injury in the form of trapping or crushing, or even severing of limbs, if caught in windshield wiper mechanism	Always remove ignition key when working on windshield wiper mechanism.	AS82.30-Z-0001-01A
1	Remove water collector		AR83.25-P-1402T
2	Remove bolt (2) at wiper system bracket (1)	Do not change the installation position of the wiper system bracket (1) at the partition wall, otherwise the contact pressure of the wiper arms changes and thus the wipe pattern.
			*BA82.30-P-1011-01A
3	Unscrew nut (3) on both sides		*BA82.30-P-1006-01A
4	Lift wiper system (1) and disconnect electrical connector (4) at wiper motor
5	Remove wiper system (1)
6	Install in the reverse order
7	Carry out function check on wiper system (1)
