Clutch travel sensor, location The clutch travel sensor (B53) is rigidly bolted onto the hydraulic central clutch operator in the transmission bell housing.  
Clutch travel sensor, task Registers the instantaneous position of the clutch as the basis for transmitting an analog signal to the automated manual transmission control unit (N15/6).
