	Remove/Install
	Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning  from swallowing coolant.	Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage bottles. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection.	AS20.00-Z-0001-01A
1	Switch on ignition
2	Adjust heater to maximum heat output
3	Open engine hood and raise to vertical position		AR88.40-P-1000T
4	Open the cap (1) of the coolant expansion reservoir (2)	Turn the cap (1) slowly and release the excess pressure, then unscrew the cap (1).
5	Check coolant level and anti-freeze content coolant.	If the antifreeze content of the coolant is too low, either antifreeze must be added or the coolant must be replaced. ↓
		Drain, fill system with coolant.	AR20.00-P-1142TI
6	Screw on test cap (3) at coolant expansion reservoir (2).	Test cap	Fig 2
7	Connect pressure pump (4) at test cap (3)	Pressure pump	Fig 3
8	Discharge cooling system with test pressure	To prevent damage to the cooling system, do not exceed the stated test pressure	*BE20.30-P-1005-01A
	Check
9	Inspect condition and installation at hose clamps; retighten or replace if necessary	6 mm socket hexagon on flexible shaft for hose clamps with worm drive	*WH58.30-Z-1001-06A
		7 mm socket hexagon on flexible shaft for hose clamps with worm drive	*WH58.30-Z-1002-06A
10	Check coolant hoses and heater hoses and their connecting points for condition and coolant loss	Replace coolant hoses and heater hoses if required.
11	Unscrew test cap (3) at coolant expansion reservoir (2).	Slowly unscrew test cap (3) and reduce the excess pressure.
12	Remove pressure pump (4)
13	Open the cap (1) of the coolant expansion reservoir (2)
14	Close engine hood		AR88.40-P-1000T
15	Switch off ignition
