Removing/installing the inlet port shutoff - AR09.20-P-1314TI

REMOVINGINSTALLING Removing/installing     
1 Remove engine trim panel   AR01.10-P-2405TI
2 Screw off retainer (3)    
3 Remove turbocharger   AR09.40-P-6020TI 
4 Remove oil feed fittings of turbocharger   AR09.40-P-6023TI 
5 Loosen engine cable duct (1) IMPORTANT Unscrew bolts (2) and place engine cable duct (1) to one side.  
6 Detach electrical connector from intake port shutoff motor (M55)    
7 Unclip engine intake port shutoff (M55) IMPORTANT Unlatch clip (4), turn linkage and unlatch second clip.  
8 Remove bolts (5)    
9 Take out inlet port shutoff motor (M55)    
INSTALLING Installing     
10 Install engine intake port shutoff (M55)    
11 Clip in engine intake port shutoff (M55) NOTES Clips should not be used again and must be replaced.  
12 Fully tighten screws (5) IMPORTANT Install intake port shutoff motor (M55) free of tension and ensure correct adjustment of the linkage.  
13 Connect up electrical connector from intake port shutoff motor (M55)    
14 Fix engine cable duct (1) in place IMPORTANT Screw in bolts (2).  
15 Install oil feed fittings for turbocharger NOTES Replace gasket, in order to avoid leakage. AR09.40-P-6023TI 
16 Install turbocharger   AR09.40-P-6020TI 
17 Fit bracket (3). IMPORTANT Press bracket (3) onto turbocharger and apply bolt to turbocharger. Then tighten threaded connection in intake port shutoff and charge air distribution pipe.
Tighten bolt on turbocharger last.		 *BA09.20-P-1003-01Q 
18 Reinstall engine cover   AR01.10-P-2405TI
  Adjusting     
19 Press lever (6) on stop (arrow)    
20 Tighten bolt on fastener for intake port shutoff lever NOTES When adjusting the inlet port shutoff linkage ensure that the intake port shutoff motor (M55) is held by a spring without electric power in the mechanical basic position. This position should be altered or worsened by the adjustment process. *BA09.20-P-1002-01Q
