Replace rubber mount for compressor - AR32.22-P-2011TX

MODEL 164, 166 with CODE (489) Airmatic (air suspension with level adjustment and adaptive damping system (ADS)) 

MODEL 219 with CODE (489) Airmatic (semi-active air suspension)

REMOVING Remove     
1 Remove AIRmatic compressor unit (A9/1) Model 164, 166 AR32.22-P-2001GZ
Model 219 AR32.22-P-2001TX 
MEASURING Measure     
2 Use sliding gauge to measure thread diameter of a threaded rod (1) on the bracket (2) for the AIRmatic compressor unit (A9/1) Model 219  
IMPORTANT Replace bracket (2) with thread M5! AR32.22-P-2009TX 
3 Push stop buffer (3a) out of eyelet on AIRmatic compressor unit (A9/1) IMPORTANT Replace stop buffer (3a) and attaching parts of the AIRMATIC compressor unit (A9/1)! Knocking and thumping noises can occur when re-using the stop buffer (3a) and attaching parts.  
INSTALLING Install     
4 Insert stop buffer (3a) into eyelet on AIRmatic compressor unit (A9/1) IMPORTANT The raised section of the stop buffer (3a) must face downwards. The groove of the stop buffer (3a) must latch all round its total circumference into the eyelet on the AIRmatic compressor unit (A9/1).  
5 Fit shim (3b) onto stop buffer (3a)    
6 Slide stop buffer (3c) onto protective sleeve (3d) IMPORTANT The outer lip of the stop buffer (3c) must enclose the washer of the protective sleeve (3d) around its total circumference (arrow).  
7 Mount push spring (3e) onto protective sleeve (3d) IMPORTANT The push spring (3e) is centered by a contour on the stop buffer (3c).  
8 Install AIRmatic compressor unit (A9/1) Model 164, 166 AR32.22-P-2001GZ
