Remove/install rear shock absorber - AR32.25-P-0110TY

	Remove/install
	Risk of injury caused by moving parts that can pinch, crush or,  in extreme cases even sever extremities.	Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts.	AS00.00-Z-0009-01A
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A
	While working on the rear axle, care must be taken to ensure that the surface of aluminum components do not get any scratches, cracks and notches. Otherwise the service life of the parts will be affected
	Tighten nuts and bolts of chassis components only when vehicle is in the ready-to-drive condition.
1	Remove left panel (1a) or right panel (1b) in luggage compartment		AR68.30-P-4800TX
2	Remove rear wheel
	Remove and install wheels		AP40.10-P-4050TX
3	Loosen fender liner (1c) in the rear fender; to do this, unscrew nuts (2), remove expansion rivets (3) and remove bolt (4)
4	Undo fender liner (1c) in rear fender at front and fold backwards	Fold fender liner (1c) toward rear carefully so as to prevent damage (cracks) in fender liner (1c). Fold fender liner (1c) toward rear until rear axle multiple circuit junction connector (X62/8) is accessible.
5	Detach rear axle multiple circuit junction connector (X62/8) and unclip electrical feed line from brackets		AR32.22-P-1500-01TX
6	Remove cover (72c) from spring control arm (72)
7	Discharge to residual pressure in air spring (41) using STAR DIAGNOSIS and immediately raise spring control arm (72) roughly 30 mm with transmission jack (5)	The air spring (41) must not be moved into the stretched position or be upset as the air spring (41) will be caused irreparable damage as a result. 		The filling process of the air spring (41) should be observed otherwise it will be caused irreparable damage, therefore fill the air spring (41) at the design level using STAR DIAGNOSIS.	AR32.22-P-1500-03TX
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		STAR DIAGNOSIS, diagnosis system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
8	Unscrew nut (75a)	Counterhold piston rod using open wrench.
			*BA32.25-P-1001-03I
9	Remove washer (75b) and upper rubber mount (75c)
10	Remove shock absorber (75) of spring control arm (72), to do so undo nut (75e) and remove bolt (75f)		*BA32.25-P-1002-03I
11	Slide damper (75) together and remove
12	Remove lower rubber mount (75d)
	Checking
13	Check upper rubber mount (75c) and lower rubber mount (75d)	Replace cracked, oiled and deformed rubber mounts.
14	Check shock absorber (75) for damage
15	Install in the reverse order
