	When working on the front-end assembly, be careful not to scratch, mark or notch the surfaces of aluminum parts. Otherwise the service life of the parts will be affected
	Only tighten nuts and bolts of chassis components when vehicle is in a ready-to-drive condition.
1	Evacuate front air suspension struts using STAR DIAGNOSIS	Vehicles with AIRmatic (semi-active air suspension), code 489
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A

5	Remove bracket (3) on retaining bracket (21b)
6	Remove bolts (21e) and remove retaining bracket (21b)	The retaining brackets (21b) must be replaced.
6	Remove bolts (21e) and remove retaining bracket (21b)		*BA32.20-P-1004-02M
7	Undo nuts (23b) and remove link rods (23) from torsion bar (10).	To be able to counterhold the bolts (23d), push the stabilizer bar (10) to the rear. Check rubber mounts of link rods (23) for signs of damage; fit new link rods (23) if necessary.

8	Detach front section of fender liner in right front fender; to do so, remove expansion rivet (4)
9	Remove stabilizer bar (10) towards the front
10	Install in the reverse order
11	Inflate air suspension strut using STAR DIAGNOSIS	Vehicles with AIRmatic (semi-active air suspension), code 489 The wheels must not make any contact with the ground when inflating, as when inflated in the jounce condition the air spring bellows in the spring element will be destroyed.
12	Perform a wheel alignment check		AR40.20-P-0200TX
