	Remove/install
1	Switch off Ignition
2	Remove transmitter key from electronic ignition switch control unit	Only on vehicles with code (889) KEYLESS-GO Press KEYLESS-GO start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. Remove the transmitter key from the vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 meters).

5	Move backrest toward rear	Move backrest toward rear until head restraint (1) can be removed from the backrest.
6	Disconnect driver NECK-PRO head restraint electrical connector (X150/1) or front passenger NECK-PRO head restraint electrical connector (X150/2)
7	Unclip head restraint (1) from left and right mount (3) of bracket (4)	Ensure head restraint supports (10) are properly seated in mounts (3) of bracket (4).
8	Route electrical line (5) of head restraint (1) through right mount (3)	Observe routing of electrical line (5).
9	Unhook securing strap (2) of cover from backrest frame (8) and pull cover upwards until spring (6) of head restraint guide (7) is accessible	Do not pull cover too far upward. Otherwise cover can tear at seam.
10	Release head restraint (1) at left head restraint guide (7) with the adjustment button
