MODIFICATION NOTES

25.11.08	Road test procedure with STAR DIAGNOSIS restricted (after replacing sensor)	Operation step 7
	Perform initialization of DTR control unit after replacing sensor, added	Step 8

	Remove/install
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Switch off ignition
2	Loosen control unit (N10/2) and place to one side with lines connected		AR54.21-P-1258SX
3	Release and disconnect electrical connector from sensor (B24/15)
4	Unscrew nuts (1) and remove sensor (B24/15)	Handle sensor (B24/15) with care. It is sensitive to shocks.
5	Install in the reverse order
6	Read out fault memory and erase if necessary
7	Carry out road test as per STAR DIAGNOSIS	After replacing the sensor (B24/15) Under "control units" - "suspension" - "ABR" - "control unit adaptations" select the menu item "road test" and process all steps.
8	Perform initialization of DTR control unit with STAR DIAGNOSIS	After replacing sensor (B24/15) on vehicles with code (219) Distronic (DTR) or code (233) DISTRONIC PLUS
