Install crossmember and weld in - AR64.20-P-1060-03SX

BR00.45-Z-1002-13A Polygrip countersunk head rivet, 6.4 X14 A 003 990 86 97 05
  1. Install rear crossmember (1), fit and fasten with COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS clamping pliers.
  2. Install straightening tool (2) on straightening bench.
  3. Fasten straightening tool (2) to rear crossmember (1).

  4. Drill dia. 6.5 mm rivet holes in rear crossmember (1) (areas A, B, C and D).

  5. Drill dia. 6.5 mm rivet holes in rear crossmember (1) (areas E, F, G and H).

  6. Drill dia. 6.5 mm rivet holes in rear crossmember (1) (areas I and J).
  7. Countersink rivet holes (areas I and J).
  8. Remove rear crossmember (1).
  9. Deburr rivet holes on both sides

  10. Apply 2-component adhesive to rear crossmember (1) in crosshatched areas.

    IMPORTANT Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.

    IMPORTANT Refer to manufacturer specifications for adhesive curing and application times.

  11. Install rear crossmember (1) and fasten with COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS manual temporary fasteners.
  12. Rivet rear crossmember (1) with Polygrip flat/round head rivet, dia. 6.4X14 (areas A, B, E and F).

  13. Rivet rear crossmember (1) with Polygrip flat/round head rivet, dia. 6.4X14 (areas G and H).
  14. Rivet rear crossmember (1) with Polygrip flat/round head rivet, dia. 6.4X14 from outside (areas C and D).
  15. Rivet rear crossmember (1) with Polygrip countersunk head rivet, dia. 6.4X14 (areas I and J).
