ABS control mode, function - GF42.45-P-3000SK
MODEL 171.4
Antilock brake system (ABS) closed-loop operation
Each ABS control phase begins with normal application of the brakes when the driver presses the brake pedal. The ESP and BAS control unit (N47-5) starts with the control and detects the brake application via signal (pedal value sensor, wheel speeds, brake pressure).
The control in the traction system hydraulic unit (A7/3) of the ESP and BAS control unit (N47-5) takes place via the control valves due to the control phases pressure buildup, pressure holding and depressurization.
