	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

1	Turn key in ignition lock into position 0
2	Hoist vehicle with lifting platform until wheels are free
3	Check tie rod joint (10a) of right and left tie rod (10).	Check tie rod joint (10a) for play by pulling and pushing vigorously, if there is play: ↓
		Replace track rod.	AR46.40-P-0200SX
4	Check rubber boots (10b) of tie rod joints (10a)	Check rubber boots (10b) for leaktightness and condition, if necessary: ↓
		Replace track rod.	AR46.40-P-0200SX
5	Check left and right bellows (10c)	Do not check the bellows (10c) by pressing in or around the beads as this causes damage to the material, eventually resulting in leaks. Stretch bellows (10c) by turning steering to left and right wheel lock; check for cracks, indentations and chafing. If damage is present: ↓
