| 2 | Remove cap (6r) from front prefuse box (F32). | ||
| 3 | Remove electrical lines (4a, 4b) from front prefuse box (F32) | ||
| 4 | Remove electrical lines (4a, 4c) from starter battery (G1/4) | ||
| 5 | Detach rubber seal (5r) from bulkhead | ||
| 6 | Remove bolt (1r) from bulkhead | ||
| 7 | Pull out protective cap (3r) from the top | ||
| 8 | Unscrew nut (2) and place cable harness (4r) on engine | ||
| 9 | Disconnect cable tie (7) and electrical connector (8) at ABC suction restrictor valve (Y86/1) | ||
| 10 | Remove left engine ground (W11/3) from longitudinal member | ||
| 11 | Unclip cover (6l) from front left fuse box and ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) | See Remove injection system control unit. | AR07.08-P-7008SZ |
| 12 | Disconnect electrical connectors (9a) on ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) | ||
| 13 | Disconnect electrical connectors (9b) on SAM control unit (N10/1) | ||
| 14 | Remove bolt (1l) from bulkhead | ||
| 15 | Pull out protective cap (3l) from the top and lay cable harness (4l) on engine | ||
| 16 | Disconnect connectors for O2 sensors (G3/3x1, G3/4x1) | ||
| 17 | Remove bottom engine compartment paneling | Vehicles without code (Z07) Top protection | AR61.20-P-1105SX |

| 18 | Unlatch connectors for O2 sensors (G3/5x1, G3/6x1) from retaining clamps and disconnect | ||

| 21 | Disconnect electrical connector (12) on intelligent servo module (A80) | ||
| 22 | Disconnect electrical connector (11) on SPS [PML] solenoid valve (Y10) | ||
| 23 | Remove cable ties (11a) | ||
| 24 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 25 | Read out fault memory and erase if necessary | ||
