Disconnect/connect ground line for battery and carry out basic programming removed

Steps 4 and 14

1	Buffer basic data of Universal Portable CTEL Interface (UPCI [UHI]) control unit (N123/1) in STAR DIAGNOSIS system	Only when replacing Universal Portable CTEL Interface (UPCI) control unit. Transfer buffered basic data to new Universal Portable CTEL Interface (UPCI) control unit.
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		STAR DIAGNOSIS system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
2	Completely move front seat toward front
3	Completely move rear seat toward rear	2nd seat row
4	Remove right rear seat	2nd seat row	AR91.12-P-1000RT
5	Remove right rear door sill molding		AR68.30-P-4100RT
6	Remove right anchoring lug	Behind right front seat on floor covering in rear	AR68.20-P-4800RT
7	Lift floor covering in rear at right rear corner	Do not damage floor covering in rear.
8	Remove right rear intermediate bottom	Six plastic nuts as well as one clip.
9	Disconnect electrical connector (3)
10	Disconnect fiber optic cable coupling (4) and cover
	Notes on avoiding damage to fiber optic cables during repair work	Model 164, 169.0/3, 211.0/2/6, 245.2, 251 with Media-Oriented System Transport (MOST)	AH82.60-P-0001-05AK
11	Unscrew nuts (1) as well as bolts (2) and remove Universal Portable CTEL Interface (UPCI) control unit (N123/1)
12	Install in the reverse order
