	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS [EZS] control unit	On vehicles with Keyless Go, code 889: Press Keyless Go start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. Remove transmitter key from vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 m).
2	Slide rear seat (1) backwards	See Operator's Manual
3	Unclip covers (2).	Toward front.

4	Remove bolts (3)	Do not swap screws (3) with screws (5).

5	Fold rear seat (1) forwards	See Operator's Manual
6	Unclip covers (4)	Backwards.

7	Remove bolts (5)		*BA91.12-P-1001-03G
8	Lift rear seat (1) at the front
9	Disconnect electrical connector (6) from the left rear seat belt buckle switch (S68/11) or from the right rear seat belt buckle switch (S68/12)
10	Remove rear seat (1) through rear door	With aid of helper.
11	Install in the reverse order
