	Remove
1	Remove radio (1)
			AR82.60-P-7502RT
2	Remove glove compartment (2)
			AR68.10-P-1400RT
		Remove and dispose of cover (3).
3	Remove paneling in front passenger footwell
			AR68.30-P-4010RT
	Install
4	Retrofit media interface wiring harness		AN82.60-P-0016-02RT
		Do not kink or stretch fiber optic cable. Otherwise there is a risk of breakage.
5	Retrofit media interface control unit		AN82.60-P-0016-01RT
6	Install paneling in front passenger footwell
			AR68.30-P-4010RT
7	Install glove compartment (2)
			AR68.10-P-1400RT
		Install cover (3) and fasten electrical connector (4) to panel (5).
8	Install radio (1)
			AR82.60-P-7502RT
9	Enter special equipment in online vehicle data card via Vehicle Documentation System (VeDoc)	Add:  CODE 518 (Media Interface)
10	Document retrofitted equipment in VeDoc	Attach note "Media Interface retrofitted as per AN82.60-P-0016RT " under field organization texts to design group 82.
11	Connect diagnostic system and select vehicle via the vehicle identification number (VIN)

12	Perform variant coding with XENTRY using the software calibration number (SCN)	Variant coding with XENTRY is carried out for the following control units using SCN: Audio component
13	Check optical fiber bus configuration using diagnostic system
14	Disconnect diagnostic system
