	Remove/install
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key from EIS control unit	On vehicles with code (889) Keyless Go: Press keyless go start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. Remove transmitter key from vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 m).
2	Remove front floor covering	Right side of vehicle	AR68.20-P-2070RT
3	Remove impact absorber (1)
4	Unscrew nuts (2, 4) and remove intermediate bottom (5)	Do not mix up nuts (2) and nuts (4). Pay attention to correct seat of clips (3)
5	Unscrew nuts (6) and place bracket (7) with AIRMATIC control unit (N51) to one side	Do not disconnect AIRMATIC control unit (N51) from electrical system.
6	Disconnect electrical connector (8)
7	Unscrew nuts (9) and remove turn rate sensor (B24/15)	Observe installation position. The turn rate sensor (B24/15) is sensitive to shocks. The arrow on the label on the turn rate sensor (B24/15) must face forwards.
8	Install in the reverse order
9	Carry out road test as per STAR DIAGNOSIS	After replacing the turn rate sensor (B24/15)
10	Perform initialization of DTR control unit with STAR DIAGNOSIS	After replacing the turn rate sensor (B24/15) on vehicles with code (219) Distronic (DTR)
