Remove/install windshield washer system washer fluid hose - AR82.35-P-6980RT

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Open engine hood (1) and move to upright position   AR88.40-P-1000RT
2 Remove air intake duct below engine hood (2)   AR83.25-P-1407RT
3 Remove washer fluid hose (4) from windshield washer nozzles (5). NOTES Risk of breakage.  
4 Unclip washer fluid hose (4) from clips (3) of air inlet grate.    
5 Pull washer fluid hose (4) downward through spring strut tower (6) (arrow) IMPORTANT Note correct installation position.  
6 Remove front section of fender liner in front fender IMPORTANT Front section of fender liner in right front fender
IMPORTANT Wheel does not need to be removed.

7 Disconnect washer fluid hose (4) from windshield washer fluid pump (M5/1) and remove IMPORTANT Collect escaping washer fluid with a suitable reservoir.  
SPECIAL TOOL Set of stop plugs Figure
8 Install in the reverse order    
9 Fill washer fluid reservoir    
REFER TO MAINTENANCE Windshield washer system - inspect fluid level, adjust to correct level AP82.35-P-8210RT 
10 Carry out function check of the windshield wipers and the windshield washer system    
REFER TO MAINTENANCE Windshield wipers, windshield washer system and headlamp cleaning system - function check AP82.30-P-8252RT 
11 Check setting of windshield washer nozzles (5), adjust if necessary.    
REFER TO MAINTENANCE Check setting of windshield washer system spray nozzles AP82.35-P-8252-01RT
