	Notes on avoiding damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Temporarily store basic data of voice control system (VCS [SBS]) control unit (N41/3) in STAR DIAGNOSIS	When replacing the voice control system (VCS [SBS]) control unit (N41/3). Copy temporarily stored basic data to the new voice control system (VCS [SBS]) control unit (N41/3).
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		STAR DIAGNOSIS system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
	Risk of injury  caused by performing testing or repair work on airbag or emergency tensioning retractor units.	Store airbag units with deployment side facing up; do not expose to temperatures greater than 100 °C. When working on these units, disconnect the power supply.	AS91.00-Z-0001-01A
2	Adjust right front seat to front
3	Remove rear seat	On right-hand side only.	AR91.12-P-1000RT
4	Remove B-pillar paneling (1)	Belt end fitting does not need to be detached.	AR68.30-P-4700RT
5	Remove cover (2), unscrew bolt (3) and remove anchoring lug (4)	Long wedge	Figure

6	Remove cover under anchoring lug (4) and sliding rail cover (6)	Fold up floor covering.
7	Unscrew plastic nuts (7) and remove intermediate bottom (8)	Model 251.0: 4 plastic nuts Model 251.1: 6 plastic nuts Detach clip (9) from intermediate bottom (8).
8	Disconnect electrical connector (10)
9	Unscrew plastic nuts (11) and remove bracket with voice control system (VCS [SBS]) control unit (N41/3)
10	Unscrew sheet metal screws (12) and remove voice control system (VCS [SBS]) control unit (N41/3)
11	Install in the reverse order
