	Removal
	Notes on avoiding damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
	Risk of explosion  caused by escaping oxyhydrogen gas. Risk of injury  caused by caustic burns to eyes, skin and mucous membranes from battery electrolyte (contains diluted sulfuric acid) or metal spatter due to short circuit. Risk of burn injuries  caused by short circuit. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing battery electrolyte (contains diluted sulfuric acid) or absorption of lead over the skin or orifices	No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves and clothing and safety glasses with side guards. Do not place any conductive objects on the battery and avoid any short circuit from battery positive to ground. Only fill liquid battery electrolyte (diluted sulfuric acid) into suitable and appropriately marked containers.	AS54.10-Z-0001-01A

2	Remove headliner

3	Remove fuse and relay box in rear	Do not disconnect electrical connectors.

4	Lift floor covering in rear (40), remove cable holder from left rear floor panel (42) and right rear floor panel (43) (see arrows), remove plastic nuts (41), remove left rear floor panel (42) and right rear floor panel (43)

5	Disconnect MOST coupling from amplifier for sound system	Vehicles without  UPCI control unit. Do not remove the amplifier for the sound system.
	Remove audio power amplifier		AR82.62-P-7720RT
6	Remove paneling in footwell.	Vehicles without  UPCI control unit. In the footwell, remove the paneling from the right A-pillar.

7	Remove roof antenna module	The roof antenna module (A2/93) is no longer required and is replaced by the new roof antenna module with SDAR antenna (2).

	Install
8	Install roof antenna module	Install the new roof antenna module (A2/93) with SDAR antenna (2).

9	Retrofit satellite radio control unit		AZ82.60-P-0006-01RT
10	Retrofit wiring harness.	Wiring harness with antenna line for SDAR.	AZ82.70-P-0001-04RTT
11	Retrofit MOST fiber optic cable wiring harness	Reconnect pin connections of on-board MOST fiber optic cable wiring harness for SDAR.

12	Install in the reverse order	Steps 6 to 1.
13	Perform retrofit variant coding	Perform variant coding using STAR DIAGNOSIS to activate the satellite radio (SDAR) functions. After completing variant coding, perform a quick test and delete the fault memory.
14	Perform function check on SDAR
15	Add special equipment to the vehicle data card and to the online vehicle data card	Enter SIRIUS satellite radio (code 536).
