	Remove/install
	Risk of explosion  caused by oxyhydrogen gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  caused by swallowing battery acid. Risk of injury  caused by burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries	No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and glasses. Only pour battery acid into suitable and appropriately marked containers.	AS54.10-Z-0001-01A
	Risk of injury  caused by performing testing or repair work on airbag or emergency tensioning retractor units.	Store airbag units with deployment side facing up; do not expose to temperatures greater than 100°C. When working on these units, disconnect the power supply.	AS91.00-Z-0001-01A

1	Remove/install instrument panel top section		AR68.10-P-1020GZ
			*BA91.60-P-1010-01H
2	Remove jacket tube		AR46.10-P-0400GZ
			*BA46.10-P-1001-01J
			*BA46.10-P-1001-03J
			*BA46.10-P-1002-03J
3	Disconnect electrical connector (3) from cockpit keyless go antenna (A2/60)
4	Remove sound deadening mat
5	Disconnect electrical connector (4)
6	Cut cable tie (5)	Installation:  Use new cable tie.
7	Disconnect electrical connector (6) from left side outlet temperature sensor (B10/31)
8	Disconnect electrical connector (7) from evaporator temperature sensor (B10/6)
9	Cut cable tie (8 to 17)	Observe fiber optic cables, do not kink, danger of breakage! Installation:  Use new cable ties.
10	Disconnect electrical connector (18) from right side air outlet temperature sensor (B10/32)
11	Pull cockpit fuse box (F3) out of bracket	Spread bracket apart. Installation:  Cockpit fuse box (F3) should arrest audibly.
12	Unscrew bolt (19)
13	Remove bolts (20)		*BA68.10-P-1002-01B
14	Unscrew bolt (21)		*BA68.10-P-1003-01B
15	Unscrew nut (22, 23, 24)
16	Unscrew bolt (25)		*BA68.10-P-1003-01B
17	Remove bolts (26)	Installation:  Position instrument panel crossmember (1) with bolts (26).
			*BA68.10-P-1001-01B
18	Remove bolts (27)		*BA68.10-P-1002-01B
19	Unscrew bolt (28)
20	Remove instrument panel crossmember (1)	With aid of helper. Carefully lift cable harness and individual lines. Remove instrument panel crossmember (1) through front door at side.
21	Install in the reverse order
22	Perform basic programming		AR00.19-P-0200GZ
