REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
DANGER Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury  caused by brake fluid coming into contact with skin and eyes. Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid. AS42.50-Z-0001-01A
DANGER Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by handling hot or glowing objects. Wear safety gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses, if necessary. AS00.00-Z-0002-01A

CLEAN Clean     
1 Clean cap and brake fluid reservoir (1)    
2 Unscrew cap    
3 Suction off brake fluid from the brake fluid reservoir (1) IMPORTANTInstallation:  Correct the fluid level in brake fluid reservoir (1). AP42.50-P-4210G 
4 Fill with new brake fluid up to the "MAX" mark in the brake fluid reservoir (1)    
REFER TO CAPACITIES & SPECIFICATIONS General brake fluid   BB00.40-P-0330-01A
REFER TO CAPACITIES & SPECIFICATIONS Brake fluids (DOT 4 plus)   BB00.40-P-0331-00A
5 Connect filling and bleeding unit on brake fluid reservoir (1) and switch on IMPORTANT Pay attention to manufacturer's operating instructions.
Brake fluid changer with reservoir (10-20 l)
 
6 Remove front wheel-and-tire assemblies   AP40.10-P-4050G
7 Pull caps off bleed screws    
8 Carrying out bleeding operation See ↓

9 Replace brake fluid in clutch system IMPORTANT Only in case of vehicles with manual transmission. AP29.00-P-2981G
CLEAN Clean     
10 Clean brake fluid off wheel brake cylinders, anchor plates, brake calipers and clutch slave cylinders    
11 Install in the reverse order
