Remove/install the suspension strut - AR32.25-P-1017TW

	Remove/install
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A

Installation	Tighten nuts and bolts of chassis components only when vehicle is in the ready-to-drive condition.
1	Relieve the pressure from the suspension strut (3) using STAR DIAGNOSIS until the residual pressure is reached	Residual pressure in spring strut up to 3.5 bar.

2	Disconnect electrical connector (1) at the top of the shift valve
3	Detach pressure line connection (40a)	Plug the pressure line for the duration of the repair operations.
		Installation: Before assembly damaged pressure line connections or damaged pressure lines must be repaired.	AR32.22-P-2001-02I

4	Unscrew nuts securing suspension strut (3) to front end		*BA32.25-P-1001-04B
5	Remove the front wheels
	Remove and install wheels		AP40.10-P-4050Z
6	Remove fender liner front section in front fender		AR88.10-P-1310T
7	Disconnect electrical connector		AR32.22-P-1500-01TV
8	Disconnect electrical connector		AR42.10-P-1040-04TV
9	Remove front drive shafts		AR33.30-P-0620I
10	Press transverse control arm (4) downwards and remove and remove suspension strut (3)	When installing or reinstalling the suspension strut (3), check the condition of the suspension strut (3):	AR32.25-P-1017-02T
11	Install in the reverse order
12	Pressurize relevant suspension struts using STAR-DIAGNOSIS	During recharging the wheels should never be in contact with the floor; refilling with the suspension compressed leads to destruction of the air suspension bellows in the strut (3). Pressurize to 5 bar.

13	Check AIRmatic for leaks.		AR32.22-P-8100T
14	Check headlamp setting and correct if necessary	After installation of new parts.
	Check and correct headlamp adjustment		AP82.10-P-8260T
