Remove/install tilting/sliding roof cover - AR77.20-P-1000TX

	Remove/Install
	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched  when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof.	When moving components, ensure that no body parts or limbs are within the operating range of moving parts.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
1	Completely open sliding roof lining (2)
2	Open tilting/sliding roof cover (1) approx. 20 cm
3	Unclip cover (3) in center and at side with mounting wedge (6), move covering (3) out of rubber bellows (4) and remove	Left and right catch hooks on covering (3) should arrest in rubber bellows (4).	Figure
4	Move tilting/sliding roof cover (1) to pop-up position
5	Remove left and right rubber bellows (4) from tilting/sliding roof cover (1)	Carefully pull rubber bellows (4) up and down to prevent damage Observe installation position of rubber bellows (4)
6	Unscrew bolts (5) on left and right mount on tilting/sliding roof cover (1)	Adjust tilting/sliding roof cover (1). Refer to: ↓
		Align tilting/sliding roof cover.	AR77.20-P-1100TX
7	Remove tilting/sliding roof cover (1)	Carefully remove tilting/sliding roof cover (1). Danger of damaging paint on vehicle roof.
8	Install in the reverse order
9	Perform teach-in run for tilting/sliding roof obstruction sensor.
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		Diagnosis system STAR DIAGNOSIS	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
