	Remove/install
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		see AH00.00-N-0001-01A
	While working on the rear axle, care must be taken to ensure that the surface of aluminum components do not get any scratches, cracks and notches. Otherwise the service life of the parts will be affected
	Only tighten nuts and bolts of chassis components when vehicle is in a ready-to-drive condition.
1	Secure vehicle on the lifting platform		see AR00.60-P-0100SX
2	Remove rear wheel
	Remove/install wheels		see AP40.10-P-4050SX
3	Remove brake disc	Engine 275 without code (Z07) Top protection, engine 273	see AR42.10-P-0220SX
4	Detach brake cover plate (112c) from wheel carrier (7)	Vehicles without code (Z07) Top protection The brake cover plate (112c) cannot be taken off, but it must be twisted in order to be able to remove the bolt of the torque strut (3) on the wheel carrier (7).
5	Raise wheel carrier (7) using transmission jack and transmission platform until rear axle shaft (37) is roughly horizontal	Transmission jack and transmission platform
6	Detach torque strut (3) from wheel carrier (7)		see *BA35.20-P-1002-03H
