"Disconnect/connect ground line on battery" removed

	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being pinched or crushed  when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lids, tailgates or sliding roof.	Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
1	Loosen headliner (1) at rear		AR68.30-P-4300PB
2	Position spacers between roof and headliner (1)	The spacer should be approx. 65 mm high.
3	Remove upper rear-end door paneling		AR68.30-P-1070PB
4	Disconnect electric wiring harness, expose and remove through cable retainer.
5	Remove gas pressure struts (3) on both sides.		AR72.20-P-3600PA

6	Unscrew nuts (4)		*BA72.20-P-1001-02A
7	Remove tailgate (5) with aid of helper	Place tailgate (5) down on suitable subsurface.
8	Install in the reverse order
9	Carry out function check
10	Adjust rear-end door		AR72.20-P-3510PB
