| 1 | Remove seat cushion of left or right front seat | AR91.10-P-3310VA | |
| 2 | Unhook lugs (1) from seat cushion frame (2) | ||
| 3 | Release suspension rail (3) from seat cushion frame (2) using a suitable screwdriver and unhook | ||
| 4 | Release suspension rail (4) from seat cushion frame (2) all round using a suitable screwdriver and unhook | ||
| 5 | Turn over seat cushion and fold over seat cushion cover (5) | ||
| 6 | Unclip staple rail (6) of seat cushion cover (5) from staple clips (7) of seat cushion padding (8) using a suitable screwdriver | Carefully unclip staple rail (6) from staple clips (7). If the staple clips (7) are damaged the entire seat cushion must be replaced. | |
| 7 | Unclip staple clips (9) of seat cushion cover (5) from staple rail (10) of seat cushion padding (8) using a suitable screwdriver | Carefully unclip staple clips (9) from staple rail (10). If the staple clips (9) are damaged the entire seat cushion must be replaced. | |
| 8 | Fold over seat cushion cover (5) to the side and fix in place with suitable adhesive tape | ||
| 9 | Disconnect electrical connector (11) | ||
| 10 | Evenly heat side heating panel (A) of left front seat heated cushion or right front seat heated cushion and carefully pull from seat cushion padding (8) | The air outlet temperature of the hot air blower must not exceed 200 °C. Carefully detach side heating panel (A) from seat cushion padding (8), since this could otherwise become damaged and the entire seat cushion would have to be replaced. Cover front passenger seat occupied and child seat recognition sensor (B48) with a rag at front passenger seat to prevent heat damage. | |

| 11 | Remove protective foil from rear of new side heating panel (A) and stick side heating panel (A) to seat cushion padding (8) without creasing following seat wing contour | ||
| 12 | Connect electrical connector (11) | ||
| 13 | Fold over seat cushion cover (5) and clip staple clips (9) into staple rail (10) | ||
| 14 | Clip staple rail (6) in the staple clips (7) | ||
| 15 | Fold over seat cushion cover (5) and turn over seat cushion | ||
| 16 | Hook lugs (1) on underside of seat cushion to seat cushion frame (2) | ||
| 17 | Slide seat cushion cover (5) beneath seat cushion frame (2) at side (arrows) | ||
| 18 | Clip suspension rail (4) to seat cushion frame (2) all round | Ensure that suspension rail (4) is correctly seated. | |
| 19 | Clip suspension rail (3) into seat cushion frame (2) | Ensure that suspension rail (3) is correctly seated. | |
| 20 | Smooth out or tighten seat cushion cover (5) by hand | ||
