Remove/install seat cushion - AR91.10-P-3310V

MODEL 171.4 except CODE (873) Right and left front seat heaters

	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  caused by backrest suddenly folding forward if release lever is accidentally operated during inspection and repair work	When working on the seat, be careful not to accidentally release the backrest mechanism allowing the seat to fold forward. Keep body parts clear of the backrest travel area.	AS91.00-Z-0005-01V
	Notes on seat occupied recognition	Front passenger seat and vehicles as of 1.06.06 with code (494) USA version	AH91.60-P-0760-01P
1	Remove left or right front seat		AR91.10-P-1000V
2	Remove paneling on front seat frame		AR91.10-P-1200V
3	Place front seat to the rear on the front seat backrest	When putting down use a suitable protective surface, as otherwise the paint on the backrest frame may be damaged.
4.1	Remove plug assembly (2) from bracket (3) using a suitable screwdriver	Only on passenger seat.
5.1	Release and disconnect seat occupied recognition electrical connector (4) from plug assembly (2) using suitable screwdrivers	Front passenger seat (seat occupied recognition or code (494) USA version as of 1.06.06)
6.1	Unclip bracket (3) from seat cushion (1)	Only for vehicles without code (275) Memory package (driver seat, steering column, mirrors) or without code (242) Electrically adjustable front passenger seat with memory.
7	Expose all wiring harnesses on seat cushion (1)	The number of wiring harnesses is dependent on the equipment specification. Installation:  Ensure that wiring harnesses are routed correctly.
8	Remove bolts (5) on left and right fixtures (6) and remove both fixtures (6) on the seat cushion (1)
9	Pull the seat cushions (1) forward and out	Insert supports (arrows A) carefully into the seat adjustment mechanism (arrows B), the supports (arrows A) may break.
10	Install in the reverse order
