Tightening value of self-locking nut of suspension strut to upper steering knuckle changed

	Remove/install
	Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	-
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		-
1	Open engine hood		AR88.40-P-1000V
2	Raise vehicle with lifting platform		AR00.60-P-1000V
3	Remove the front wheels
	Remove/install wheels, rotate if necessary		AP40.10-P-4050V
4	Unclip bracket (27) from suspension strut (11)	Remove cable ties Push bracket (27) along the brake hose as far as possible upwards and fasten. Installation: Install new cable ties.
5	Detach torsion bar link rod (4) from suspension strut (11).		*BA32.20-P-1004-02B
6	Unscrew nut of suspension strut (11) on top of upright and pull out bolt	The bolt and nut without collar must be replaced. The washers are discontinued. Tightening torque only valid for threaded connection with collar.

7	Detach suspension strut (11) from bottom of upright	Secure upright to prevent it from falling down as the brake hose must not be subjected to tensile loads.

8	Unscrew nuts (3) on suspension strut support	Secure suspension strut (11) to prevent it from falling down.

9	Remove suspension strut (11)
10	Install in the reverse order
11	Perform chassis alignment		AR40.20-P-0200V
