Removing and installing rain/light sensor - AR82.00-P-1000V

	Remove
1	Remove transmitter key from electronic ignition switch control unit
2	Remove inside rearview mirror		AR68.40-P-0001V
3	Unclip and remove retaining clamp (1) from bracket (2) with a suitable screwdriver
4	Remove rain/light sensor (B38/2) from bracket (2) and disconnect electrical connector (3)
	Install
5	Clean contact surface of rain/light sensor (B38/2) on windshield	Remove all traces of gel from windshield. Observe air drying time for cleaning agent.

6	Attach rain/light sensor (B38/2) to electrical connector (3) and insert in bracket (2)	Do not touch coating on rain/light sensor (B38/2), otherwise the operation of the rain/light sensor (B38/2) will be affected. If it has been removed, the rain/light sensor (B38/2) must be replaced.
7	Clip on retaining clamp (1)
8	Install inside rearview mirror		AR68.40-P-0001V
9	Code adaptation of rain sensor and light sensor amplification factor and select type of windshield
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS, read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		Diagnosis system STAR DIAGNOSIS	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
10	Perform function check
