Emergency call actuation, function - GF82.95-P-2003RMA

MODEL 230.4 as of 1.7.04 with CODE (359) TELE AID emergency call system with CODE (494) USA version 

TELE AID telediagnosis 

A roadside assistance call (wrench symbol) or an MB-Info call ("i" symbol) is placed by pressing the MB-Info and breakdown assistance button group (S93/6) in the appropriate direction. The system is activated when the MB-Info and breakdown assistance button group (S93/6) is pressed for more than 0.5 s. System activation is indicated by the flashing of the associated LED in the MB-Info and breakdown assistance button group (S93/6).

Regardless of the request, the actuation of the MB-Info and breakdown assistance button group (S93/6) is read in over a discrete line by the emergency call system control unit (N123/4). The emergency call system control unit (N123/4) automatically sends an SMS. Once an SMS has been sent, a voice connection to the service center is immediately established.
