Retrofitting multi-contour seat - AN91.25-P-0001N: Notes

MODEL 215 

If an actively ventilated seat is not fitted, the maximum wiring harness must be retrofitted.

	Removing
1	Remove front seat
			AR91.10-P-1000N
2	Remove tensioning part
			AR91.10-P-1910N
3	Remove control valve of lumbar support of front seat backrest	If seat ventilation (code 401a) is fitted, lumbar support control valve is replaced by the multi-contour backrest control switch. Tie pneumatic line as electrical connection of wiring harness is used. On models not fitted with seat ventilation (code 401a), route new wiring harness.

5	Remove front seat cushion	On models not fitted with seat ventilation (code 401a).

6	Remove head restraint

8	Remove backrest cover

9	Remove lumbar support	Lumbar support is replaced by inserts 1).
10	Remove rear seat backrest

11	Remove rear shelf

	Installing
12	Install inserts (1)
			AR91.25-P-1740N
13	Retrofit fixture of multi-contour backrest control module		AN91.29-P-1000-03N
14	Install air cushion (2) on right and left
			AR91.25-P-1740N
15	Install multi-contour backrest control module
			AR91.25-P-1750N
16	Install multi-contour backrest control switch	Fit electrical connection to multi-contour backrest control switch.
			AR91.25-P-1760M
17	Retrofit pressure reservoir and pneumatic lines		AN91.25-P-0001-06N
18	Fit remaining parts to vehicle
19	Carry out operational check
20	In the event of modification to equipment fitted, subsequently enter code or designation of relevant special equipment on vehicle datacard / FDOK
