Shifting Function

The floor shift (11) is no longer bolted on the body side but is connected to the transmission by a coupling arm (12) and supported on the body tunnel so that it can move via a swivel lever (13). This prevents transmission of vibrations and noise to the floor shift and to the tunnel by means of rubber mounts on the coupling rod, shift rod and the two swivel levers. The selector movement is transmitted from the shift lever to the inner shift module (10) in the transmission by the selector cable (1) and the shift movement is transmitted by the shift rod (2). Both transmission components are maintenance-free.
