General

The trip computer has the following functions:

Display and calculate the current and average fuel consumption
Display and calculate the likely range
Display the trip time
Display the date

The trip computer control module (TRIP, N41) receives all the necessary information via CAN data lines (for more information refer to the appropriate function).

In vehicles with ATA, the trip computer control module (TRIP, N41) also features the glass breakage sensor. If the vehicle has an anti-towing sensor, the trip computer control module (TRIP, N41) also contains the inclination sensor. In addition, the status of the infrared interior monitoring also appears on the display. Further information is provided in the ATA function description.
