Remove/install washer fluid reservoir of windshield washer system - AR82.35-P-6000Q

MODEL 209 except CODE (P98) Black Series

MODIFICATION NOTES

2.2.06 Repair method has been revised Step 3  
REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install    
1 Remove finder liner in front fender IMPORTANT Left, front and center fender liner. AR88.10-P-1300P
2 Pull filler neck (2) out of washer fluid reservoir (1)    
DANGER Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing coolant. Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

3 Use clamps to clamp off both coolant hoses on the heater, release the hose clamps and detach both coolant hoses of the washer fluid heater For vehicles with code 875 Heated windshield washer system.  
    SPECIAL TOOL Fig 2
4 Unclip bracket (6)    
5 Remove windshield washer fluid pump (M5/1) and place to one side with lines attached IMPORTANT Collect washer fluid which flows out.  
6 Remove HCS [SRA] pump (M5/2) and place to one side with lines attached For vehicles with code 600 Headlamp cleaning system.  
7 Detach electrical connector (5) from windshield washer fluid level indicator switch (S42)    
8 Remove bolts (7)    
9 Take off washer fluid reservoir (1)    
10 Remove heater unit Only when replacing the washer fluid reservoir (1) for vehicles with code 875 Heated windshield washer system.  
11 Remove windshield washer fluid level indicator switch (S42) Only when replacing the washer fluid reservoir (1).  
12 Install in the reverse order    
13 Correct windshield washer system fluid level    
REFER TO MAINTENANCE Check windshield washer system fluid level and correct if necessary   AP82.35-P-8210P 
14 Inspecting cooling system for leaks For vehicles with code 875 Heated windshield washer system
