Disconnect/connect/remove ground lead from battery

	Removal/installation
1.1	Remove cover (1) on center console	up to 31.5.04	AR68.20-P-2350Q
1.2	Remove upper control panel control unit (N72/1)	as of 1.6.04	AR54.21-P-1262Q
2.1	Unscrew bolts (2) at upper control panel control unit (N72/1)	up to 31.5.04 The PTS OFF switch (N72/1s8) is integrated in the upper control panel control unit (N72/1).
2.2	Remove cover for upper control panel control unit (N72/1)	as of 1.6.04 The PTS OFF switch (N72/1s8) is integrated in the upper control panel control unit (N72/1).	AR68.20-P-2313Q
3	Install in the reverse order
4	Perform basic programming		AR00.19-P-0200Q
5	Read out fault memory and erase	Faults stored due to simulations, or cables being disconnected for assembly / testing operations, must be processed and erased from the fault memories after the work is completed.
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		STAR DIAGNOSIS system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
6	Perform function check
