  Body acceleration sensor, task Three acceleration sensors are used for measuring the vertical acceleration of the vehicle body.  
  Body acceleration sensor, function The body acceleration sensors consist of an electronic oscillation module (operating principle same as spring/mass system). They detect vertical body accelerations and supply signals to the control module.
