	Removal, installation
	Risk of explosion  from gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury  from caustic burns to eyes and skin from battery electrolyte or from handling damaged lead-acid batteries	No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking. 1	Connect quiescent current retention unit

2	Disconnect ground cable of battery

3	Remove left front door control module (N69/1)	Installation:  New part.

4	Remove mirror glass (2)	Driver's side. Installation:  New part.

5	Remove glass adjustment frame (1)	Driver's side. Refer to:↓
		Remove outside rearview mirror completely Installation:  Glass adjustment frame (1), new part.	AR88.70-P-9000P
6	Remove mirror adjustment wiring harness	Driver's side. Installation:  New part.
7	Remove inside rearview mirror (A67)	Installation:  New part.

8	Install in the reverse order
9	Perform version coding for "Automatic dimming outside and inside rearview mirror (driver)"	STAR diagnosis tool
10	Carry out operational check
11	When modifying package code or designation for corresponding special equipment, enter on vehicle card and in FDOK	Code (249b) Automatic dimming outside and inside rearview mirror (driver)
