Remove/install automatic transmission fluid cooler - AR27.55-P-1000GM

	Remove/install
1	Remove underride guard	Model 463	AR88.30-P-0010MG
2	Drain transmission oil	Remove oil drain screw on oil pan.	*BA27.10-P-1001-03A
		If the transmission fluid shows signs of running hot or contains metal particles, both the oil cooler and the transmission lines must be flushed to prevent possible transmission malfunction in the future.
		Flush out oil cooler and oil cooler line	AR27.55-P-0001GA
3	Unscrew union nut securing oil cooler line to oil cooler (1)	Collect transmission fluid in suitable container.	*BA27.55-P-1001-01B
4	Unscrew banjo bolt securing oil cooler line to oil cooler (2)	Collect transmission fluid in suitable container.	*BA27.55-P-1007-01B
5	Unscrew oil cooler retaining nuts (3)
6	Pull oil cooler bracket (5) off automatic transmission fluid cooler (4)	Transmission 722.638 and 722.630 in Model Series 463.243/246 only.
7	Remove automatic transmission fluid cooler (4) complete	Collect transmission fluid in suitable container. Use caution to avoid damaging the cooling fins on the transmission oil cooler, as damaged fins may prevent the fluid from being cooled adequately.
8	Install in the reverse order
	Checking
9	Check oil level in automatic transmission, correct if necessary	Before refilling or filling for the first time, first pour in approx. 5l of transmission oil since a too small or too large oil filling capacity cause malfunctions and transmission damage.	AR27.00-P-0100AC
