Disconnecting cables from control modules and fuse and relay boxes - AR54.18-P-1261-01QA

Release female contacts in non-detachable fuse holder of interior fuse box.

  1. Unlock catch (2) using a screwdriver.

    IMPORTANT Release carefully to avoid damaging.

    IMPORTANT The catch (2) must be pressed over the locking lug (3) to unlock correctly.

Release female contacts in detachable fuse holder of interior fuse box.

  1. Release locking caps (4) using a screwdriver.
  2. Push catches (5) inwards and pull fuse holder (7) out of interior fuse box.

    IMPORTANT Release carefully to avoid damaging.

    IMPORTANT The lock cap (4) must be pressed over the locking lug (6) to unlock correctly.

Remove female contact (1) from interior fuse box

  1. Guide release tool SPECIAL TOOL from the fuse side through the openings of the contact chamber into the interior fuse box (direction of arrow).

    IMPORTANT This presses together the spring tabs of the female contact (1) and releases the female contact (1).

  2. Pull the appropriate wire with female contact (1) out of the interior fuse box in the direction of the arrow.

    Installation

  3. Note installed position of cables (mark for identification). Ensure and check that female contact (1) engages correctly in the interior fuse box by gently pulling the relevant wire.
