Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS (0100) to the data link connector (X11/4) or the data link connector (1.3) (X11/22).
Switch on ignition.
Start DAS.
Determine vehicle model, model series and type of steering.
Select "Major assembly groups" and then proceed to "Control units" in the menu.
Select the following from the menu in sequence:
1. Information - communications
2. IC - instrument cluster
3. Control unit adaptations
4. Version coding
5. Optional equipment
Select the "Special equipment" menu, then proceed to "Phone." Reset from "not installed" to "installed" and transfer code to the control unit.
Terminate DAS session and disconnect Star Diagnosis (0100).
