Remove/install bottom part of oil pan - AR01.45-P-7555QB

	Remove/install
	Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
1	Raise vehicle with vehicle lift		AR00.60-P-1000P
2	Remove bottom engine compartment paneling	Installation: Only install lower engine compartment paneling after engine test run and leak test.	AR61.20-P-1105P
3	Drain engine oil and collect it for recycling
	Engine oil and filter change		AP18.00-P-0101PIT
		Installation: Replace sealing ring on oil drain screw.
4	Remove bolts (1a) on oil pan bottom section (1)		*BA01.45-P-1003-01M
5	Loosen oil pan bottom section (1) from oil pan and remove.	Pry off oil pan bottom section (1) from the oil pan by inserting a bolt (1a) and unfasten from the oil pan using assembly wedge (01). Only pry oil pan bottom section (1) together with bolt (1a) from the oil pan until mounting wedge (01) can be pushed between sealing surfaces, otherwise the oil pan bottom section (1) and sealing surface on the oil pan can be damaged.
		Mounting wedge If the oil pan bottom section (1) cannot be loosened from the oil pan, heat the oil pan bottom section (1) around sealing surfaces using a hot air gun. Installation: Observe application of sealant to oil pan bottom section (1).	Fig 2

6	Clean sealing surfaces on oil pan bottom section (1) and oil pan	Do not use any sharp-edged tools or abrasive paper as this will damage the sealing surfaces.	AR01.00-P-0050-01A

		Cleaning spray, Loctite 7063 (150ml)	*BR00.45-Z-1046-04A
7	Install in the reverse order

8	Check engine oil level and correct if required
	Engine oil and filter change	Model 203, 209 with engine 272	AP18.00-P-0101PIT
	Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
9	Check for leaks with engine running
