Separate bottom firewall section - AR62.25-P-1100-01P

WH58.30-Z-1002-01A Ball cutter, dia. 12 mm
WH58.30-Z-1001-03A Round wire brush, braided, dia. 70 mm
WH58.30-Z-1024-04A Abrasive disk, dia. 115 mm, 80 m/s (max. 13, 250 RPM)
WORKSHOP EQUIPMENT

WE58.40-Z-1001-03A Drill (electric/pneumatic)
WE58.40-Z-1002-03A Straight grinder (electric/pneumatic)
WE58.40-Z-1003-03A Angle grinder (electric/pneumatic)
WE58.40-Z-1004-03A Body saw (electric/pneumatic)
WE58.40-Z-1005-03A Wet/dry vacuum cleaner
  1. Expose spot welds (area A).
  2. Cut out spot welds with SPECIAL TOOL spot weld milling cutter (area A).

  3. Expose spot welds (area B).
  4. Cut out spot welds with SPECIAL TOOL spot weld milling cutter (area B).
  5. Expose welding spots (areas C and D).
  6. Drill spot welds with 7 mm dia. spiral bit (areas C and D).
  7. Expose spot welds (area D 1 ).
  8. Cut out spot welds with SPECIAL TOOL spot weld milling cutter (area D1 ).

  9. Mark separation point (area E).
  10. Cut separation point with body saw (area E).
  11. Remove section from bottom of firewall.
  12. Remove section from top of firewall.
  13. Remove remaining flange from firewall.

  14. Sand down to bare metal connection surfaces in the shaded areas on both sides.
  15. Remove grinding and drilling chips using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.

  16. Sand down to bare metal connection surfaces in the shaded areas on both sides.
  17. Remove grinding and drilling chips using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.

    NOTES Move drilling machine only in direction of arrow, to prevent wire brush from catching in sheet metal flange!

  18. Sand down to bare metal connection surfaces in the shaded areas on both sides.
  19. Remove grinding and drilling chips using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
