| 1 | Open engine hood and raise to vertical position | ||
| Remove strut tower brace with brackets | |||
| 2 | Remove cover (1) above brake fluid expansion reservoir | ||
| Risk of injury caused by moving parts that can pinch, crush or , in extreme cases, even sever extremities. | No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating range of the mechanism when moving components. | AS00.00-Z-0009-01A | |
| 3 | Unscrew nuts (3a) from bracket (3). | ||

| 4 | Remove strut tower brace (2) with brackets (3). | ||
| 5 | Secure support bushing with nuts (3a) in suspension strut tower. | ||
| 6 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| Remove strut tower brace without bracket | |||
| 7 | Unscrew bolts (2a) and remove strut tower brace (2) from brackets (3). | ||
