Removing, installing seal at rear of vario roof - AR77.50-P-4100G

	Removing
1	Remove C-pillar lining on Vario roof		AR68.30-P-4500G
2	Set mounting position with roof switch	Switch on ignition. Vario roof remains in this position for 7 min after release of roof switch (stop function). The roof can be set to this position for another 7 minutes by pressing the roof switch again.
3	Remove screws (2) on inside of Vario roof
4	Pull seal (1) down and out from rail (3)
5	Unscrew screws (4) and remove plate (5)
6	Unscrew screws (6) and Disconnect rail (3) from seal (1)	Replace sealing profile (7) on rail (3) if damaged
7	Disconnect seal (1) from flange on Vario roof	Remove rest of sealing tape (6) on Vario roof If re-using, remove residue of sealing tape (6) on seal (1)
	Installing
8	Press new sealing tape (8) on Vario roof as shown, and expose dowel openings (9)	Apply sealing tape (8) in corner of Vario roof
9	Insert rail (3) in corner of seal (1) left and right
10	Lay seal (1) on Vario roof
12	Attach rail (3) with screws (6) to Vario roof
11	Install seal (10) in rail (3) and tighten screws (6)	At the same time align rail (3) to Vario roof on side
13	Install seal (1) in rail (3)	Use lubricating fluid for mounting seals
14	Fit screws (2) on Vario roof inside	Note impact (arrow) to seal (1)
15	Install plate (5) on Vario roof corner	Align seal (1)
16	Position seal (1) on flange on Vario roof and press in using plastic wedge
17	Pull sealing lip (11) forward under seal (1) using plastic wedge (arrow)	Then rub seal (1) once more into place using plastic wedge
18	Install C-pillar lining on Vario roof		AR68.30-P-4500G
19	Open and close Vario-roof a number of times
20	Install in the reverse order		*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A
21	Perform rain test
