Tripping of anti-theft alarm (ATA), function - GF80.50-P-2004I

MODEL 170 as of 1.6.98 with CODE (551a) Anti-theft alarm (ATA) 

The anti-theft alarm (ATA) is triggered when:

• an exterior surface contact  is actuated
• the radio is removed (disconnected electrically)
• the ignition is jumped
• the glove box is opened (actuation of glove box switch (ATA) (S62/7))
• the anti-towing sensor (TS)  is tripped
• the alarm signal siren with additional battery (H3/1)  is tripped.

This assumes that the ATA is activated  and the corresponding inputs are ready to trigger an alarm.

The inputs ready for triggering an alarm are checked by the PSE control module (combined) (A37) twice per second.

If two sequential checks of the same input indicate that the input is not in the non-actuated state, the PSE control module triggers an acoustic  and optical alarm. 

A triggered alarm can be interrupted by activating or deactivating the ATA.
