Alarm triggered by exterior surface contact, function - GF80.50-P-3015D
MODEL 170 with CODE (551a) Anti-theft alarm (ATA)
MODEL 170 with CODE (552a) Anti-theft alarm (ATA) for Switzerland
When the anti-theft alarm (ATA) is activated actuation of an exterior contact triggers an alarm.
The exterior contacts are:
- Door switches S17/3, S17/4
- Trunk lid rotary tumbler/trunk lamp toggle switch (S69/12)
- Engine hood switch (ATA) (S62)
The switches (S17/3, S17/4, S69/1 and S62) transmit a ground signal to the PSE control module when doors/trunk lid or hood are open .
The prerequisite for triggering an alarm is that the alarm input on the PSE control module (combined) (A37) , to which the corresponding contact is connected, has been armed by activating the ATA .
A triggered alarm can no longer be terminated by resetting the contact, i.e. closing a door opened previously.
