Open engine hood (1) and move to upright position |

Unscrew bottom four bolts (4) in engine hood (1) |

The engine hood is held in place by the safety hooks on the engine hood hinges (5)
Installation
: Move bolts to coincide with pressure points in paint Ensure that engine hood fits correctly, if necessary ↓ |

Adjust engine hood |

Unclip retainer (2) and unhook gas pressure strut (3) from engine hood (1) at top |

| 4 |
Unscrew the two top bolts (4) in engine hood (1) |

Have second person secure engine hood |

Installation
: Move bolts to coincide with impressions in paint |
|

Remove engine hood (1) with help of second person and set down on suitable surface |
Avoid damaging paintwork
Installation
: Position engine hood in safety hooks on engine hood hinges (5) |

Reinstall in opposite order |
